The collaborative research within WP4 has yielded remarkable scientific outcomes. The BRIDGE project has successfully delivered:

  • Two peer-reviewed open-access papers in high-impact journals: Small (2025) focusing on the systematic optimization of -based room-temperature ozone sensors through surface defect engineering, and Advanced Sensor Research (2025) on the development and evaluation of eco-friendly, lead-free sensing elements across multiple morphologies.
  • First-of-its-kind demonstration of room-temperature VOC discrimination using lead-free sensors against peppermint terpene markers, establishing a solid proof-of-concept for non-invasive breath analysis arrays.
  • Open Science Compliance: In full compliance with FAIR principles, the supporting datasets for our peer-reviewed publications have been curated and deposited as open-access resources in the official BRIDGE Zenodo Community repository.
