Athanasia Kostopoulou, Konstantinos Brintakis and Eleni Petala visited IVV in Friezing, Germany. Training on breath research (theory) and in analytical techniques (theory and practical) has been carried out. Furthermore, project management, administration and technology transfer courses were taken place.

Human capital development and intense technical training were at the heart of the BRIDGE project. Across the project’s duration, a rigorous and structured training curriculum comprising 12 advanced courses was successfully completed, delivering a total of 121 course-hours. The purpose of the visit was to discuss practical aspects of BRIDGE project, related to infrastructures of a chemistry lab, such as Schlenk line and other small equipment. He also visited the Materials Characterization Facility.

As the BRIDGE project converged toward its final implementation phase, the consortium successfully identified a focused portfolio of two Key Exploitable Results (KERs) positioned at TRL 4. These advanced methodologies include optimized room-temperature ozone sensors and sustainable, lead-free double perovskite platforms with high technological and societal potential in the breath diagnostics and environmental monitoring sectors….
